What do you mean by:

- inigyou 18d agoIf it can't call 911 you're not allowed to sell it as a phone. Phone calls use VoLTE which is newish technology. Therefore it's illegal to sell older technology as a phone.
- ninalanyon 18d agoWhy would I want to call 911? The number here is 999, or 110, 113, 113 in the rest of Europe. And of course I can call it.
- inigyou 18d agoRight, and if your phone can't support whatever the network uses for it, you're not allowed to sell it as a phone. Even fake toy phones for kids need stickers that say there's no emergency service.
