To me, done means: Is there any other major content or features coming. Its not necessarily about support but, with sk=ilksong for isntance, yes the game is released but if you play it today, vs some time in the future once all the dlc is out, you are effectively playing two sepereate games. I like to make sure I play a game only once all of the content that will be in it is released.
Obviously this is imperfect because look at the witcher 3, after more than a decade they announced a new DLC (Which is a tie in to the new game but still)
- cnity 19d agoThere's a qualitative difference to me. Categorising Stardew Valley the same way as Cyberpunk because they both receive content updates feels unfair to Stardew Valley (because the continual content updates for the latter come from a place of respect to the community, while the former comes from overpromising and under-delivering). But if this is your rubric, and you find an audience that finds value from this rubric, I don't mean to denigrate your work here!
- Folcon 17d agoOk interesting, I've got a clearer idea of what you're looking for, the probabilities that are sprinkled in the report make a little bit more sense Basically is this a done experience that I can have, if I'm summarising you correctly
