In my experience, it was not possible to complete the verification via computer, even with a webcam. The verification site assumes and seems to require that you use a cellphone.

- nickff 19d agoYes, I spent about an hour trying to figure out how to make the webcam work, but I'm sure you would have figured out the limitation more quickly.
