I heard that term about the Hyundai Santa Fe first. Now it's the Chinese manufacturers giving JLR competition.
Of course if you drive the actual vehicle back to back with a Land Rover, you'll find that looks or interior do not a Rover make.
For now anyway.
- jaggs 23d agoI trust you realise that JLR is now owned by Indian steel company Tata?
- stanski 23d agoDoesn't even matter who owns them. Reliability is consistently terrible and the vehicles are consistently nice to drive.
- jaggs 23d agoActually it does matter. They were terrible cars when owned by the British. And there's a chance they'll be much less terrible being owned by the Indians. I'm not sure they're that good to drive either. I had a Jag for a while and it was okay. But a bit of a wallowing boat and don't get me started on the roadholding of a Rangy.
