> The way to deal with the bear to the south is to first get rid of all the stupid stuff that is bad for Canadians regardless of Trump, like provincial liquor monopolies and dairy supply management. When I think of the things holding us back as a country, it's not provincial liquor boards, dairy supply management or sales taxes. In fact, those don't matter ant all. Instead I think of our risk-averse culture, our insane housing costs in BC and Ontario, and our open-ended "Indigenous consultation" for infrastructure projects.
