Hm, I didn't realize it was so inexpensive. I've only ever used S3 as a CDN for a huge site with lots of images, so it was an expensive endeavor.

- jvoorhis 14y agoI've run a Jekyll site from S3 with no difficulty, at a satisfactorily low hosting cost. Cloudfront takes only minutes to setup, and the costs are competitive, so I imagine it's a promising route.
