I think you misunderstood my question. I know an average amount about the dei programs and social debate. What I didn't, and still dont, know was if the person I was asking was referring to dei people as people working in dei roles, people advocating for social justice of some kind, or people from diverse backgrounds. I've heard all of these referred to as dei people and which one they meant changes how the post reads.
