Sadly true. Even if your provider takes privacy seriously, chances are the other side is using US big tech who'd happily give away their copy of your data to any sufficiently credentialed authority.
- IndySun 27d agoJust to follow up. Is it your contention (basically) that any interaction with any of the Five Eyes country is suspect? I realise this puts (guesses off top of head) 95% of all internet traffic, theoretically including such 'privacy focussed' open source projects emanating from the five eyes/95%, as suspect too. Are we all incapable of being apart from that 95% (assuming you're in that 95%)?
