Making up events in your personal history is not plagiarism.
- foldr 1mo agoNo, but it's also not professional misconduct. I don't think Arday's work merited the position he held, but at the same time, you can't really fire a professor of sociology because you find out that they've run fewer charity marathons than claimed. So the plagiarism was the main issue relevant to his academic position.
