I've been working on https://treehouse.net https://treehouse.net to hopefully grow into a reddit alternative, starting small with a select set of topics. Bootstrapping a social network is an uphill battle to be sure. But I want treehouse to be the ad-free, bot-free experience original reddit once was.

- pndy 1mo agoIt reminds me of a Polish reddit spinoff attempt called strims, where subs were streams - hence the localised name.
