SeaweedFS is also great and would try it if I had a greenfield project. However I had a very big installation of Minio already so trying to move it to anoyther

SeaweedFS is also great and would try it if I had a greenfield project. However I had a very big installation of Minio already so trying to move it to anoyther system would be very difficult and dangerous (and would probably need a lot of downtime). So Silo was a godsend!
