And then I wouldn't give up after I failed once, but guards are up if a scam failed, so seems not useful to retry. But honestly, those scammers you mention seem low hanging fruit. Yes, you could forward an Android call to Asterisk server and use STT (Voxstral has real-time module), LLM, and TTS to generate a reply. But I think the added latency is going to be problematic.
