This is something where I agree and disagree with both sides.
Parents should have the tools to protect their children, the providers should have those tools in place. But those that are dealing the goods as also heavily invested in trying to maximize engagement and so they do not really work to hard on providing those tools.

- lern_too_spel 1mo agoWhen the market leads to bad outcomes, that's where the government steps in with regulation, as is the case with the California laws linked in this article. You appear to fully agree with them, which makes sense to me because the laws look perfectly reasonable.
