- 0cf8612b2e1e 1mo agoThey very much used to in that some organizations policy was effectively, “Whatever the government says”. In the last couple of years, more organizations now have competing standards. On a more direct route, this could impact insurance payments and so the likelihood of children getting the shots. If insurance will only pay for the official vaccine schedule, plenty of parents will delay for economic reasons.

If insurance will only pay for the official vaccine schedule, I would imagine more frequent visits (which this recommendation suggests) is more expensive than a single visit for all the shots at once.
- bediger4000 1mo agoI wonder if health insurance companies won't use the data they collect and decide that if you don't get vaccinated, your premiums go way up, kind of like for smokers.
