- rolph 1mo agojust what, i wonder will happen on this island :-/
- SilentM68 1mo agoMost reasonable Cubans that have not been brainwashed will tell you that they'd prefer the current overlords to leave the island rather than see violence on the streets. What ever happens in that island, if or when Trump takes over, will never be worse than the abuses perpetrated by Cuba's current slave-owners and that's a fact. I trust Marco Rubio's judgement, in Cuba-related decisions, 100%. If he says it's acceptable, that's all I need to know. If a non-violent solution is decided as the best course, so much the better. Hopefully, there will be a lot of "Trust but Verify," for all the parties involved with any infusion of cash going towards the rebuilding of the island and not into the hands of the overlords. As for my advice, exclude any hard-line, communist-leaning leftists from any talks as they are the main cause of most misery in the world, historically and factually speaking.
- treetalker 1mo agoThe Castros coming into the USA on a special orange visa in exchange for giving away part of Cuba will be quite the leopards-eating-faces moment in Miami!
- SilentM68 1mo agoSome people want that. I personally would like to see the nightmare to end, even if it means that the slave-owners leave for parts unknown, so the island starts prospering, again even if I never get to see it.
