Anyone know what Nintendo's stance is on the companies making these kind of "brand inspired" retro products?

- yellowapple 1mo agoCompanies have been building and selling clones of Nintendo consoles for many years now. I suspect if Nintendo had a legal angle against this they would've exercised it a long time ago.
- inigyou 1mo agoJust because they haven't found one doesn't mean they aren't looking.
- roboror 1mo agoReally? I think the ModRetro M64 is hideous compared to Analogue's 3D (their version of the N64)

- snvzz 1mo agoEh, you'd have to pay me to use anything from Analogue. ModRetro put their effort where it matters[0], whereas Analogue aren't even honest about their hardware, with baseless claims of 100% compatibility, recurring shipping delays or screwing preorders out of picking case shells. Which can't even be readily replaced. 0. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gOJUEcKYRk https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9gOJUEcKYRk
