      Thank you! I ran into this a ton in college, and still do sometimes with new (to me) authors. I was confident about what was happening, but it's nice to know it's a documented phenomenon.

      there is a book in German called 'Der Baader-Meinhof-Komplex", so I was a little bit irritated, as someone who knows the history of the RAF

      Oh, I forgot about that, but had seen that in the news as well. It’s kind of weird that this area that I was only aware of because I like studying maps has popped up a whole bunch in the last few weeks.
