Pentagon asks soldiers for 'creative' ideas to punish Iran
- Bender 1mo agoTurn all the under-mountain missile cities into super-mega-malls with Whole Foods, McDonalds, indoor shooting ranges, nail salons, super-walmarts, hotels, apartments, casinos, strip clubs and free e-bikes to get from business to business as the tunnels go on for miles. Free unlimited, uncensored WiFi. Air conditioning, everywhere. Make each section walking-friendly. Import millions of tourists. Customer service center at every entrance with scantily clad male and female greeters. Free insulated water bottles with US and Iranian flag logos. Many of the Iranian citizens may like this. The IRGC not so much.

- bediger4000 1mo agoWhy source this from The Telegraph, which is a prominent UK paper? Hasn't this been reported by our home grown media? Why rely on foreign reporting, which may have anti-Trump biases?
- prmph 1mo agoWhy assume every HN member has (or should have) a US-centric point of view?
- SanjayMehta 1mo agoSo you don't trust NYT any more?
- bediger4000 1mo agoI do not, especially after their ongoing easy treatment of Trump relative to how reporting of Biden and Clinton was framed. I try not to give them clicks or as views either
- SanjayMehta 1mo agoNeither do I. They were always a bit off then I read "The Gray Lady Winked" - NYT didn't just go downhill in the 60s, they were deeply compromised in the 30s itself with their support of the Austrian.
