I haven't been paying much attention recently, it's not like I can justify the price of major upgrades thanks to the slopophiles having ruined the memory and storage markets. Whatever it is, it'll be a while before we see this in anything consumer-facing. 1TB a second is just wild though. Wiggling electrons around 256 billion times a second, and then doing it 16 lanes wide reliably for years on end is a feat of absolute wizardry.
