Sleep problems due to undiagnosed or subtle Sleep Disordered Breathing, or other fatigue-causing conditions not quite bad enough to either be disabling or diagnosed are extremely common.
It's easy to be tempted to blame it on people getting addicted to caffeine or whatever but the reality is that most people do those things to self medicate a real issue they have no better recourse against.
- tombert 2mo agoThat turned out to be my case. I had at the time undiagnosed sleep apnea, and I think I was using caffeine as a crutch instead of treating the problem.
- suburban_strike 2mo agoIf you have a recent sleep apnea diagnosis, get your testosterone checked too. Years of poor sleep will crater your levels and CPAP will not help as much as it should.
