- throw0101d 2mo agoIf you're in the US, average life expectancy is 79, so it will probably be fine for the next ~5 years. If you're in Canada, or a G7/EU nation, it's in the 80s, so you may have 10+ years to go, so the chances of Substack being around in the same form for that time period is lower.
- HALtheWise 2mo agoAverage life expectancy is the wrong thing to use here, since life expectancy _assuming you're still alive at 74_ is actually 13.1 yr in the US.
