It should be more grating that Europe's refusal to adopt air conditioning is murdering their most vulnerable at rates comparable to American gun deaths and (unlike climate change or gun violence) there's a trivial solution that would prevent this immediately instead of waiting decades.
- wlecometo 2mo agoThese "most vulnerable ones" are the ones who don't want airco or that believe that climate change does not exist because it's summer of course it's hot.
- sn9 2mo agoThis is completely incoherent, especially since some European governments outlaw or restrict the installation of personal air conditioning in certain kinds of buildings. Belief in climate change isn't exactly rare in Europe.
