Don't put your name to bot-written content
- protocolture 2mo agoEh this article says very little which is a major problem with bot written content too. My desire to attribute myself is based on how much of my effort is in there and it always will be.

- rossant 2mo agoWhat if my prose is AI-assisted, but it's the result of hours of conversations with an agent, with constant back-and-forth, dozens of iterative rewrites, and refinement until the structure, tone, and style are exactly right? Focusing on the intent and the desired outcome rather than manually laying out one word after another.
- vouaobrasil 2mo agoIf one goes through this process, can you be even sure that you have any creative direction any more? I doubt it. "Exactly right" is a moving definition that is diminished in worth when one gives up independence of thought. That's not even restricted to AI: people who can't shut themselves away for a while to contemplate their own self expression invariably cannot produce something to the best of their ability. AI is just the apex of this phenomenon.

- est 2mo ago> we were wrong and graphic design didn’t disappear as a discipline overnight. True. However after many years I still don't know how to design CSS and colors are my enemy.
