- hippiesthippie 2mo agoLowest effort HN post I have seen in years
- threefour 2mo agoAnd yet, it brightened my day
- hippiesthippie 2mo agoHey, if you wanna go on a site called Hacker News, suggesting technical articles and continue to read a one worded post linking to Wikipedia about politicians gifting each other pets, you sure are getting what you came here for.
- xacky 2mo agoPeople are just piping Special:Random into their browser and submitting to hacker news to get free karma.
- antisthenes 2mo agoHey, still 10x better than piping whatever into their Claude CLI and submitting.
- bpavuk 2mo agowhoever/whatever decided to put it onto front page has a great sense of humor
- zbentley 2mo ago> The White House electrician and kennel manager, Traphes Bryant, trained Pushinka with peanuts to climb up a ladder to Caroline Kennedy's playhouse and slide down the other side. "White House electrician and kennel manager" is a hell of a job title.
- brnt 2mo agoI didnt know I wanted this job. Well, not right now anyways.
- trjordan 2mo ago> Breed: mixed That's a corgi. > Pushinka subsequently became irascible, and "a little nippy" according to Caroline Kennedy, which she attributed to her upbringing in a scientific laboratory. No it's because she's a corgi.
- antisthenes 2mo agoWell, technically she's a half corgi half mutt (from Strelka), but the point still stands.
- cryzinger 2mo agoI don't think she was a full corgi (you almost never see all-white corgis, and not quite the right head/body shape) but she definitely had some corgi in there, or a similar herding breed. There's no way Strelka was a full corgi, either (although the idea of stray corgis running around Soviet Moscow is awesome, lol) but she also had a very expressive, corgi-ish face!
