- inigyou 2mo agoConsoles are suffering from the RAM price crisis just as much as PCs.
- ColdStream 2mo agoMaybe, they still aren't going to have the same economy of scale or the business loss leading tendency of some consoles. Valve doesn't want to be subsidizing hardware that can be used as a desktop. that puts them on the back foot. But I suspect Xbox is eventually going to go the path of Steam cube and end up licensing out hardware/software spec and let multiple vendors make hardware. The 3DO sales model may rise again some 35 years after the fact.
