Flat compared to 2 months ago. Chart looks like a pump-and-dump. 50% up and back. Is there any precedence in history for a swing like this over a two month period for the IBM stock?
- alephnerd 2mo agoThe 50% increase was due in part to IBM's acquisition of Confluent under the assumption that it would help IBM derive additional business from the datalake segment.
- throwaway_20357 2mo agoWasn't that acquisition announced in December 2025 and closed in March 2026? Hard to imagine it created a sudden spike in the share price only in late May.
- alephnerd 2mo agoIt impacted IBM's projected sales pipeline for the quarter.
