Wasn't the China collapse entirely predictable based on the rise of China's domestic auto industry? Why would anyone buy a Jetta when you can get a BYD?
- alephnerd 2mo agoThe BYD EV boom only began in earnest in 2020 when the Han EV was released and the NEV was clubbed with local level subsidizes. The pieces were there but didn't catalyze until then.
