- wewewedxfgdf 2mo agoYou misunderstand - the message is he was far more interested in living and what he could do with his life and genuinely found the cancer not interesting compared to other things. He wasn't just being touchy and trying to change the subject.

- IAmBroom 2mo agoYou misunderstand. When someone is confronted with something as powerful as imminent mortality, it pervades all your decisions. Both explanations can be true.
