Reddit is bleeding...
- sharkweek 14y agoif I wagered a guess, I'd say 90% (maybe higher...??) of HN users are relatively regular reddit users as well
- indenturedsmile 14y agoVery true. That's how I knew the meme. I saw it on reddit which I also frequent. However, that doesn't mean we should introduce them here. They don't add to Hacker News discussion.
- sharkweek 14y agoyeah, agreed -- my comment was more just a random thought -- I appreciate that the two community styles stay mostly separate
- p4bl0 14y agoAnd I totally agree with you, I just actually couldn't resist. I was ready to face some downvote (and I have been served…). Apologies. However there already are some links on HN which leads to reddit style discussion, like the recent link to the "Great HN parody". I think it may be okay from time to time as long as it doesn't flood the discussion.
- indenturedsmile 14y agoYeah, that's cool. I chuckled at your comment, and I didn't downvote (I can't. Guess I don't have enough karma). Just trying to abide by the guidelines (http://ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html http://ycombinator.com/newsguidelines.html).
