Is it okay if I only learn Python?

  No, Python is a slow and high level language, so there are aren't many examples or documentation out there for graphics, and you need very high performance for graphics, and python just doesn't get you that. Learn c++ or rust, or even something else but it has to be fast and pretty low-level
