- mikeyouse 3mo agoNearly 50,000 Americans died of Covid in 2024… and 20% of those were under 65 years old. It’s thankfully much better now than at the peak but tens of thousands of people are still dying..

The highest cause was heart disease (~680K) which has a best preventative step of maintaining at least 150 minutes of moderate exercise weekly. Between 45% to 50% of Americans, of any age, are estimated to have done that.
