I’m unfamiliar with this idea. I read the entire post. When I got to the above quote I am unsure why the suggestion is to reach out to only a Democrat Party rep. Is this idea not also beneficial/desirable for the Republican Party?
- tstrimple 3mo agoNot really. Republicans fight explicitly to disenfranchise people for their own benefit. “More representation” isn’t even something they pretend to want.

- jdlshore 3mo agoRepublican states are mostly lower population than blue states, so they have disproportionate representation in the electoral college. This would give Democrats more power in presidential elections than they currently have, if I understand it correctly.
