oh no, did the scary vegans tell your group of folks to stop abusing and killing animals?
- Recurecur 3mo agoThere are no scary vegans, but the humane harvesting of animals for food has occurred for millions of years. Consuming animal protein is also one of the healthiest things you can do for your body.
- boston_clone 3mo agoI’m a scary vegan that’s probably healthier than you. What is this “humane harvesting” - could you describe it and how it relates to university pharmacology departments? Consuming animal proteins that cause cancer and promote zoonotic diseases are not “one of the healthiest things you can do”. Got anything peer reviewed? Share away.
- rdtsc 3mo agoThey did feel threatened yeah. Not scary as in unwashed or scary looking, more like "unhinged" scary, as in "they could slash my tires" or physically attack and such.
- boston_clone 3mo agoOh wow, creating a boogeyman by thinking how motivated people could do something bad but having no evidence for that sounds both terrifying and exhausting. Glad you made it out alive. Wish the animals did, too.
