You are describing an experience which couldn’t be further from the norm in Europe.
- inigyou 3mo agohigh speed trains, that can go up to about 350kmph/200mph, are the norm in Europe if you're going a long distance across France or Germany, but they're not daily public transit for most people just like flying isn't.
