- derektank 3mo agoThat prose is painful to read. It has such a cloying quality to it, even when compared against other name change announcements like the rebrand of Google to Alphabet https://blog.google/alphabet/google-alphabet/ https://blog.google/alphabet/google-alphabet/
- gib444 3mo ago"Fin is clearly our future" by choosing a word which means "end" in Latin and Spanish ... LOL Almost like a pre-announcement about the acquisition?
- solarkraft 3mo ago“your customer journey ends here”
- asim 3mo agoWow. So a deal like this is not overnight, its 6-12 months in the making at least. So the name change comes as they knew the deal was closing and doubled down on this new branding for customer agents. Maybe because Saleforce wants Salesforce Fin Customer Agent as a product. Who knows. Don't want to read the post...
- schnebbau 3mo agoYeah - they want Salesforce Fin, not Salesforce Intercom.
- garrickvanburen 3mo agoThis was my guess on the impetus for the name change as well.
- uberex 3mo agoFin! As in finito!
