I totally agree with you. Being an old school dev that had my hay-day back before most of the people on this site was born - I think AI will ultimately be our doom. AI writes it's own next-gen, and what is left for us?

- coldtea 3mo agoHacker News has plenty of people profiting off AI and people that never think about the consequences of technologies as long as they are new and shiny. But some downvotes don't mean anything. They might balance out or end as upvotes eventually.

- cassianoleal 3mo agoI'm not sure what you're getting on about here. Are you complaining that your post received a downvote? IME it's pretty normal for posts to receive downvotes. I also think it's somewhat cowardly to downvote and move on - at least tell me why you did it! For what it's worth, I upvoted GP because I think it's something worth it to think about. I didn't either up or downvote P because, well, it's not adding much and is just confusing.
