Rux: A new systems programming language
- deleted 4mo ago[deleted]
- oinoom 4mo agoIs this a passion project? If so, nicely done! If it’s meant to compete with other systems languages, is there a page or something that describes “why rux”?
- feliceme 4mo agoI just found it and like it, it's not my project. I discovered it from this YouTube video https://youtu.be/qy4iPvFFcV8?si=c7_OL4dio0gsq24w https://youtu.be/qy4iPvFFcV8?si=c7_OL4dio0gsq24w. It seems the authors want a systems programming language with simple, clear, modern and explicit syntax, which doesn't rely on LLVM.
- feliceme 4mo agoThis newly published blog post gives an introduction to the language and its current state, and basically says "why Rux": https://rux-lang.dev/blog/language-without-llvm https://rux-lang.dev/blog/language-without-llvm
- feliceme 4mo agoThis is the first article I found about Rux: https://dev.to/natuworkguy/rux-a-modern-systems-programming-language-worth-watching-178o https://dev.to/natuworkguy/rux-a-modern-systems-programming-...
