- qwerpy 4mo agoYeah but that was Waymo. This time it’s Tesla.
- 7e 4mo agoExactly. Waymo is already much better at driving than Tesla will ever be. They deserve a pass for actually moving the technology forward.
- jfengel 4mo agoIt's absolutely not fine. But I would note that we are already settling for "good enough" by letting those responsible adults cause 6 million accidents and 40,000 deaths. Tesla's Autopilot is worse. But people aren't great. I hold out a tiny modicum of hope that the cars will get better. If not Elmo's version, then somebody's. Because the people are not getting better, and are arguably getting worse.
