Coins Stream
- agentifysh 4mo agoQuite a mesmerizing effect just sat and stared at the coins for a while. Is this a 3D engine or some clever trick with sprites?
- XiZhao 4mo agoHey thanks! I made this, its very WIP so surprised anyone found it. It's basically a 3d scene implemented in webgpu with a custom pixel shader. Server sided physics, streamed to the frontend with a very cheap client that just lerps stuff around in the scene.

- PortableCode 4mo agoI think I've seen this somewhere! There's an indie game, Raccoin, that looks very much like this website (coincidence?)
- dragonsenseiguy 4mo agoyes! that's what I thought too! but I didn't remember the name Raccoin. Thank you!
- cafkafk 4mo agoI didn't realize the single spinning coin was actually a loading animation. Might make sense to add text indicating it is loading, or a loading bar. Without this, and considering the long load time I had, I imagine the bounce rate is gonna be quite high.
- XiZhao 4mo agogood point
