I'm paying $16/mo for Photoshop and Lightroom. I have to imagine that the majority of people who post to HN can afford $16/mo. I'm not a professional photographer, but it's an excellent hobby, and just the other week, a neighbor stopped me to tell me how much they love the pictures I post to our neighborhood Facebook group - so that's something I guess!
