Internet Explorer 10 For Windows 7 : I Uninstalled It
- magamiako 14y agoThis is a useless blog post. Firstly, how does he know the style sheet is conforming to the standard? He made no mention not comparison of this. And "IE being listed in updates" has been the same for years. There is absolutely nothing new about that behavior and I'm pretty sure it goes back to at least Vista, if not XP.
- kevingadd 14y agoThe OP's blog renders wrong because it's forced into IE7 emulation mode by his own HTML: "<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=EmulateIE7"/>" Who intentionally breaks his own website and then complains about it?
- TopTrix 14y agoThank You very much for the best and easiest solution. I have corrected the error. Thanks once again.
- cardine 14y agoSomebody who wants to manufacture a bogus reason to criticize Microsoft, which is apparently a common thing to want to do on HackerNews.
- TopTrix 14y agoNot at all. I am the real fan boy of Microsoft. Really.
- ghurlman 14y agoSo, this guy was lazy and refused to fix a bug, and get some hits on his blog in the meantime. Mission accomplished, I suppose.
- jjkmk 14y agoYou didn't really give a good reason as to why you uninstalled it. Did you switch to 9 or 8, and why are either of them better in your opinion?
- faucet 14y agoI have uninstalled X - Hacker News indeed! <\sarcasm>
