The employer doesn't "allow" them to take "time off" to fight as part of the IDF as reservists. This is the law in Israel, and has nothing to do with any employer whatsoever. During this time, Israel's National Insurance is reimbursing the employer for the salary of absent employees.
- sosomoxie 5mo agoNo employer has to hire IDF members. It’s their choice to allow that or not.
- thejokeisonme 5mo agoIf they employ in Israel, then yes, they have too.
- sosomoxie 5mo agoWhich is one of the reasons they should not employ people in Israel. Again, it’s a choice the employer is making.
