- digikata 5mo agoLast I checked, and things might have changed, atuin runs a full posgresql database to store and sync the history, while mcfly is lighter, it also has a narrower feature scope.
- ellieh 5mo agoSo Atuin actually runs postgresql on the server only - the part that handles sync for many users On the client, it uses sqlite. As of recently, it also keeps an in-memory Nucleo index to make fuzzy searching much faster
- Zizizizz 6mo agoI tried tig first, I think Lazygit is the ideal interface to me for it. I actually don't use it apart from tags now though as I switched to jj and jjui for 2026. I think everyone has their own tool that works for them so it's hard to go wrong with a lot of these tools
