Came here to say this. I don't want to fall down not because I fear the fall, I fear the not getting up.
- Beestie 6mo agoI'm at a point in life where all the major forks are in my rear view mirror. But when you are young, energetic, don't have dependents and have time to recover then you should absolutely take calculated risks. Playing it safe will haunt you in your later years.
- antonyh 6mo agoThat's where I am too. Not sure why I've been downvoted when I've past the point of doing high-stakes risks and have people who rely on me to avoid injury so they get to have fun.
