I basically have to hit the edit function in Signal and correct typos in Every. Single. Thread. Every. Single. Day. It is infuriating. This has been going on for years, so I guess when this guy claims this started at iOS 17, it seems to make sense. The iOS keyboard really really is utterly broken. I'm glad it's not just me. I was already wondering if I should schedule an appointment with a doctor and check if I have early onset dementia or something.
