Color Shuts Down
- wgoodwin 14y agoThis news is actually a brilliant illustration of the sloth of academic publishing. I used Color as an example in a book review of an academic text on the knowledge economy, written now almost 18 months ago. Hopefully, it will be published by the end of the year.
- victorma 14y agoYes, because academic publishing should keep up with the latest tech news and gossip, that's its main use and strength.
- MartinCron 14y agoI know you weren't going for helpful, but you also failed to get to either funny or factually correct. We can do better than that, here.
- bpatrianakos 14y agoTo be fair, he used it in a review, not an actual book. I think he has a point despite being a little off topic possibly.
- reinhardt 14y agoHopefully you used it as an example of an overhyped bubble, in which case your review is even more relevant. If not, oh well, you live and learn.
- mdonahoe 14y agoI wonder how much of that $41 million is left.

- gbeeson 14y agoOf course, now Color has denied that it is shutting down. Let the good times commence.
- nollidge 14y agoNot according to Color themselves: http://techcrunch.com/2012/10/17/color-says-not-shutting-down/ http://techcrunch.com/2012/10/17/color-says-not-shutting-dow...
