I quit software, though I never made it very far in it it was my profession for 16 years. I'm a corrections officer now. My new career is drastically less stressful.
- PenguinCoder 8mo agoInteresting. I was a LEO, moved gradually into infosec. I think the stresses are different, but LEO was way more actively stressful.
- VoidWhisperer 8mo agoAtleast you are less likely to get shot at in infosec, that probably helps with the stress
