No need to visit it. Unless you have a "invite code", you can not do anything. There is a "join waitlist" link that just goes to the frontpage...

- theothertimcook 8mo agoI got an invite a few weeks ago, it’s basically just reddit I guess.. Top post has ~300 upvotes and ~100 comments. I also signed up for a MySpace account, I’m also not sure what that is now. In fact, I don’t even really know what HN is, I just like that there’s no in-jokes or pictures.
