I pretty much saw the trend evolving over time, and I'm pretty sure it's just something that happened, nothing planned. There is an indie dev making a Bird Game prototype now, because of the trend, but it's a small project so I doubt he had this in plan.

Oh I'm sure a lot of people are trying to develop the game, as a result of the reels.
