I couldn't recommend Patrick O'Brian more, I binged the entire Aubrey-Maturin series during lockdown and was genuinely sad for a week when I reached the end of it.

I'm (very) slowly collecting the Aubrey/Martin series from second hand bookshops. For some reason I stopped reading the first book 50-odd pages in, but I will be returning!
